Visitor games: your place, told as a story.

Game Is Serious builds games for places where people spend free time: shopping centres, zoos, parks, museums and neighbourhoods. Visitors follow a story on a phone, stop to stop. No app, no sign-up, no host.

A drawn path with round stops, a family seen from behind.

A shopping centre, shop to shop.

Families follow a story. Shops are stops, not a list. Easter, summer, Advent.

A zoo or a park, enclosure to enclosure.

Animals become characters. The walk has an order that families keep on their own. In 2017 we built this for a public bird park.

The same form works for a museum, a neighbourhood, or a Christmas market: a path, a few stops, a story.

How a game arrives at your place.

  1. You send a site plan and three to eight places.
  2. We write the story and build the game, in English and German.
  3. Visitors open it by link, or from a sign with a QR code. It stays open, including with no staff on site.

Questions before a pilot.

  • Do visitors need an app?

No. A link, or a QR code that points at the link. The game runs in the browser.

  • Which languages?

English and German. Another language on request.

  • What does a pilot cost?

There is no flat price. After the call you get a fixed proposal.

  • Where do you work?

From Berlin, for venues in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and across the EU. We run the test walk on site, or remotely with your team.
