MEDDPICC qualifier

This is Sohrab’s live founder record, not a mockup. The public verifier opens without a Game Is Serious account. Open the founder credential.

The candidate problem

A skill line is a claim. A room gives the claim somewhere to fail.

A CV can say MEDDPICC. A quiz can test whether you remember the letters. Neither shows what you do when the champion is friendly but weak, procurement appears late, or the buyer’s number is still only your number.

The score is the room, not the letters.

One sitting · a whole deal

The qualifier does not drop you into one scripted call.

You work the deal before you speak for it. The GIS world is our own sell-practice fiction, so the evidence is about your decisions in the simulation, not a customer claim.

  1. 01

    Territory

Choose where to spend attention and state a plain business reason for the account.

    Account choice and rationale

  2. 02

    Research

Read the account signals, people, documents, and commercial pressure before you form a story.

    Evidence, not invented context

  3. 03

    Initiative

Map what is changing, who owns it, and why doing nothing may still win.

    Customer initiative map

  4. 04

    Pipeline judgment

Decide what deserves pursuit, what is missing, and where the deal should slow down or fold.

    Advance, repair, or stop

  5. 05

    Qualification

Build the eight MEDDPICC fields from actions and evidence, not CRM optimism.

What the room watches

Eight distinct ways an enterprise deal can die.

The qualifier records judgment across the MEDDPICC field. It does not award a plate because you expanded the acronym.

Metrics

Value in units the buyer would use to decide, not a hope number.

Economic Buyer

Pursuit of the person who can say yes, not only the friendly contact.

Decision Criteria

The scorecard the customer holds, not criteria the seller wishes were true.

Decision Process

Meetings, approvals, and sequence mapped before the forecast slips.

Paper Process

Legal, security, procurement, and signature path after the verbal yes.

Identify Pain

The cost of doing nothing in the customer’s words, not interest treated as urgency.

Champion

Whether someone inside can sell when the AE is not in the room.

Competition

Status quo and other paths treated as real alternatives.

The debrief

The score comes back as evidence you can inspect.

The board updates during the run. The debrief preserves the qualification state and coaching evidence. The public plate is the shareable record from the completed run, not the full private working file.

What the plate means

A qualifier with a narrow, defensible claim.

The current plate verifies completion of a full scored MEDDPICC simulation. It is deliberately not presented as proof of universal sales mastery.

What it verifies

  • A full GIS AE Deal IQ simulation was completed.
  • The run produced a valid qualification score and evidence session.
  • The credential is tied to the named holder after sign-in.
  • The credential ID and issue date can be checked on a public URL.

What it does not claim

  • It is not a MEDDPICC certification and not a competence diploma.
  • It does not promise performance in the holder’s next real deal.
  • It is not a path-end certificate or a shareable step seal.
  • Game Is Serious does not auto-post it to LinkedIn.

From practice to profile

The evidence loop has three human decisions.

  1. 01

    Play as a guest

Enter MEDQ with a name and work the full GIS AE deal. No account is required to begin.

  2. 02

    Sign in after the run

Use Google sign-in when the debrief is ready. That ties the plate to a person rather than a browser.

  3. 03

    Publish deliberately

Open the public verifier, add it to LinkedIn, or send the URL with an application. Nothing is posted automatically.

For recruiters and hiring managers

Read the verifier as evidence of a completed simulation, not as a hiring verdict.

The plate answers a useful first question: did this candidate do more than name MEDDPICC on a profile? It does not replace a structured interview, references, or a role-specific work sample.

  • Named holder and stable credential ID
  • Issue date and public verification status
  • MEDDPICC skill evidence carried by the plate
  • Methodology explaining what the room observed

For a role-specific hiring assessment with frozen conditions, use the separate Deal IQ hiring work sample. The open qualifier remains candidate-owned practice evidence.

Before you enter the room

Is this a MEDDPICC certification?

No. It is a MEDDPICC qualifier from a completed scored simulation. Game Is Serious does not present it as certification or a competence diploma.

Do I need an account?

Not to begin. Guest play is allowed. Sign-in is required only when you publish the public plate so the record is tied to a person.

Is there a passing score?

The current bar is a completed full simulation with valid scored evidence. We do not advertise an invented mastery threshold.

Is this for SDRs and BDRs too?

This qualifier is built for the Account Executive seat and MEDDPICC. Game Is Serious maps SDR and BDR practice to SPICED.

What can I share with an application?

Share the public verifier URL or add the credential to the Licenses and certifications section of LinkedIn. The verifier does not require the reviewer to sign in.

Your turn

Put MEDDPICC on LinkedIn after you have used it in the room.

Set aside one uninterrupted sitting. Guest is fine. When the debrief is complete, sign in and decide whether the public plate belongs on your profile.
