Team IQ · Pod craft
How we simulate inside-team moments, score situational fit on O*NET-aligned skills, and give managers auditable evidence on the same enablement spine as Deal IQ.
Team IQ trains team craft: how reps read peers, managers, and cross-functional partners inside the pod. Deal IQ trains deal craft with buyers. Both products share one enablement spine, one soft-skill library, and one manager dossier.
Team IQ is not a personality test. We report which skill the rep reached for in which social scene, how often, and whether the fiction reacted well, went quiet, or pushed back.
Each episode is a social chapter on a fictional pod (public demo: Relay Platform on room code STEAMIQ).
Team social and hallway beats. Relationship building and social perceptiveness under low-stakes visibility.
Incident accountability. Ownership vs quiet cleanup when a peer is under pressure.
Team forum and async compose. Listen-before-fix, empathy, conflict repair on a live retro thread.
Managing up and feedback reception when the manager names a growth edge directly.
Scene types (team_social, team_forum, manager_1on1, incident, async, cross_functional) drive rubric expectations: the same skill can score well in one scene and risky in another.
Twenty-four curated skills from O*NET work styles, grouped for coaching and visualization:
Managers assign 3 to 5 focus skills per cohort. Other library skills still score when a beat touches them (incidental scoring).
Episodes also track pod-native constructs mapped to library proxies: psychological safety, managing up, peer trust repair, values alignment, feedback reception.
Every scored beat assigns situational fit, not a permanent trait label:
Well matched Right skill for the social moment; peers respond positively.
Risky here Skill useful elsewhere but fragile in this scene type.
Mismatch Wrong tool for the moment; peer reaction marks the gap.
Debrief copy groups evidence by fit band so managers can coach behavior in context, not label reps as "bad at empathy."
Debrief and manager dossier use a signed polar chart from -100 to +100:
Frequency counts (well / risky / mismatch uses) appear in provenance rows and manager exports.
Team craft lane runs parallel to deal craft on one person record. Approvals and program steps are separate; evidence merges in the dossier.
