1. What is Code Decoder?
Code Decoder (Ramzgosha) is a collaborative puzzle game for reinforcing short, powerful messages: mission, vision, core values, or competencies. A manager enters 1–5 sentences. The system turns each word into an icon (minimal sketch). Players see a grid of icon-only cards, no words are shown on the cards. Each card has a direction hint (up, down, left, right) and a small image of the neighbour card, so players can order the puzzle by matching icons. Then they write the decoded last sentence from scratch and submit. The first team to submit the correct sentence wins.
2. How to play
For the manager (before the game)
- Create a room and choose Code Decoder (Ramzgosha).
- Enter 1–5 short sentences (e.g. your company mission, vision, or values). Up to 8 words per sentence. You can use AI to generate or refine sentences.
- The system generates a minimal sketch for each word and adds a direction hint on each card. The grid size depends on the number of sentences and words (e.g. 5 rows × 8 columns).
- Share the room code with players. Start the game when everyone is ready.
For the players
- Join the room with the code. You see a grid of icon cards only, no words are shown on any card.
- Cards are shuffled. Each card shows one icon and a small hint: a direction arrow (up/down/left/right) plus a tiny image of the neighbour card. Use these hints to order the cards.
- Drag and drop cards to rearrange the grid until the layout matches the correct order.
- When you are happy with the arrangement, lock it and type the decoded last sentence (what you think the final row means) into the text field. Submit your answer.
- The first team (or player) to submit the correct decoded sentence wins. The manager dashboard shows everyone's time, accuracy, and attempts.
3. The grid and hints
The grid has as many rows as sentences (1–5) and as many columns as the longest sentence (up to 8 words). Each cell holds one icon card. All cards are shuffled at the start, no row is revealed in advance. On each card, the main area shows the icon; a small hint shows a direction (up, down, left, or right) and a miniature image of the neighbour card. By following these hints, players deduce the correct order, then write the last sentence in words and submit.
4. Who is this for?
Teams and organizations that want to deepen understanding of mission, vision, values, or competencies in a memorable way. Ideal for workshops, onboarding, or culture sessions. No prior knowledge needed, just collaboration and a willingness to decode together.
